Given all of the things throughout history which have happened in June, Hellary mentions the assassination of Bobby Kennedy? An unusually close parallel to Obama or wishful thinking or maybe instructions to the wack job racist out there?

“You guys aren’t doing your job!”
That’s what I hear Hellary saying!
Maybe that’s just me, …. we will find out at Barak’s wake.

I would tend to agree with that assessment, but would add that the corporate media circus sometimes gives the appearance that they’re trying to keep themselves entertained during the endless campaign. Or perhaps they’ve have a taste of the good life via those deep-tissue massages and baby back ribs from Jesus, er, John McCain, and have decided endless distractions re: Hillary and Obama are the best way to get the gravy train into office.

She is really sick. Believe me, I know the type entirely too well: overachievers become so invested in a specific goal, and then when they fall short of that goal they can’t deal, lashing out at everyone else out of denial. I’ve just never seen it on quite this large and public a scale. Nevermind that bringing up Bobby Kennedy’s death when Teddy seems not long for this world is just utterly without tact.

And yet, I doubt Obama’s supporters, who have the vigor and emotional maturity of youth, won’t raise a stink about it in the same way as the unsubstantiated insinuation of sexism in his campaign has been bandied about the media in the past few days. There’s a double standard in this campaign all right, but it seems to favor whoever’s the underdog at a given moment so the media can draw out the contest and keep up their ratings.
