Denying millions of children health care may sound heartless and ideologically driven, but give the man a break – young Americans can’t vote Republican until they’re 18, and Bush will be long out of office by then.
Lessons learned: The president is only concerned about children’s wellbeing when they’re potential, and socialized medicine is more terrible than the plague, except when we’re providing it to military personnel or the Republic of Iraq.
