Jesus has to be the laziest Son of God around. After coming back from the dead, he made some vague promises about returning soon, but there was no follow-through. Every generation of Christians knew Christ would come back to Earth during their lifetimes, only to grow old and die with no vindication of this belief. Are there XBox 360s and weed in Heaven? ’cause the savior is straight-up slackin’.
His poor track record aside, 41% of Americans are certain that this time, for sure, no way he wouldn’t, Jesus will return to earth with trumpets and fanfare and all that jazz by 2050. If they want him to visit they’re going to have to do more than wait and hope. What kind of incentives would push Jesus to leave his room for a change?
