Christianist Jan Porter doesn’t pray for the sick and downtrodden or for peace – she prays that her God gives her and her friends control of the media. She wants “more influence than Oprah Winfrey, than the network television anchors,” to own the networks and make CBS the “Christian Broadcasting System.” She insists YHVH do it because those who control television are unrighteous and she, her cohorts and the attendees of Convergence 2010: A Cry to Awaken A Nation are pure.
I have a prayer of my own. I hope it is as – if not more – effective than Porter’s.
“Oh sweet Jesus, I deserve a hundred billion dollars and a yacht that is also an island because I am right and everyone who doesn’t agree with me is wrong. I want to own everything on the planet for the same reason, and with your permission, I wish to turn the Trinity Broadcasting Network into the Titillating Bison Network. I’m tired of being ignored by elites. Straight up intervention from your heavenly ass would really be doing me a solid. Amen.”
