I always thought a murder machine would look more intimidating. I concede that when death feels imminent, a baby penguin would feel threatening if you had it in your mind that it was about to end you, but on a purely visceral level, I’d be more afraid that it would miss a spot while dusting my apartment. Poor design aside, Surena-2 is clearly going to be used for nefarious purposes by Iran’s theocratic regime. Its human-style arms will no doubt be stoning enemies of the Islamic Republic by week’s end.
