It is always tragic when these types of things happen and the media circus that follows the events. Today, however, it became official: the gravy train has been derailed. What gravy train am I going on about, you ask? TLC’s “Jon & Kate plus Eight”, one of televisions most beloved exploitations of children and a continuation of the long American tradition of carnival side shows. Jon and Kate… or commonly know as “that bitch with all the kids on tv, and her pussy husband” have made their split official after months of innuendo about their failing marriage.
All I can say to the Gosselins is for shame! How dare you allow your personal feelings get in the way of exploiting your children and family dynamic for profit! Where do the both of you get off derailing that Monday night gravy train, so beloved by millions of Americans? Sure, you may get a book deal, or a spin-off series with a quirky English butler in Hawaii… but it’s just not going to be the same. Just think of all the lost opportunities… the episode when your kids go on their prom, or the first school yard fight. Think about all of the basement dwellers who will never get to watch your children grow up in front of their eyes and develop unhealthy obsessions. You’re both selfish, foolish people and don’t realize what you are putting America through, and the damage it will do to your bank accounts.
