Who would win in a wrestling match, Lemmy Kilmister or Adolph Hitler?
As far as the German government is concerned, Lemmy is Hitler since he decided to wear a Nazi cap in a photo shoot for a German newspaper. Lemmy has been collecting Nazi and other Axis paraphernalia for a while, and claims that the bad guys just have cooler looking uniforms than the good guys. However, the German government doesn’t care for the leader singer of Motörhead’s fashion statements. “Anti-constitutional propaganda” and “anti-constitutional symbols” are illegal under articles 86 and 86a of the German penal code, which includes any illusion to Nazi Germany and the SS.
So long as their lead singer doesn’t get locked up in a German prison, Motörhead’s newest album is set to release on August 26th, marking their 20th studio album and over 33 years of one of the heaviest heavy metal bands known to man or Lemmy himself.
