I can’t believe that I’m saying this, but the great Billy Mays is dead. I can remember just yesterday seeing him on TV and smiling, because he used to take his infomercials so seriously that it made me laugh. But that wasn’t necessarily a bad thing, because it sold the product. The cause of death is unclear at the moment, but it was stated that yesterday, when on a flight from Philadelphia to Tampa, that one of the tires on the landing gear blew out upon landing, and that luggage fell and struck Mays. Still, the cause of death has not been officially determined. Billy Mays was one of TV’s most influential people, and will be remembered throughout the world for his key phrase, “Hi, Billy Mays here!” He will be sorely missed.
