Under the pall of news that Futurama is returning, but it may be without the original voice actors, the panel at CCI was something of a nonstarter.
Peter Jackson made it known that the Hobbit script is nearly finished, but casting has not yet begun. Jackson is also officially no longer involved with any venture attempting to adapt Halo for the silver screen.
