With Ellen having served her first and final season on Fox’s American Idol, talk has begun on who is slated to fill her danceable yet comfortable shoes.
A major rumor says that it will be music and box office sensation Jennifer Lopez. A person who was involved with the whole situation said that Lopez was close to signing the deal.
If Lopez does take a jump in the apparent revolving door of judges it could have a positive effect on the show, which has been trying to claim back the youthful appeal it has lost.
There is no word on whether or not Kara DioGuardi is set to reprise her role of the crazy skinny judge and there is still no replacement for Simon Cowell, who left the previous season.
