Portland, Oregon comes in at a respectable eighth place for big cities (and their surrounding suburbs) Americans would most like live in. Re:Generator’s other main base of operations, Los Angeles, doesn’t get off quite so lucky, coming in twenty-second, right behind the dismal blight that is Riverside, California. But denizens of all three cities can be thankful for that they’re not Detroit. Hell, that doesn’t just go for metropolitan areas – most of the nation can be thankful they aren’t Detroit.
