Yes, there is an American Mustache Institute. Yes, they’re holding a contest for the 2009 Robert Goulet Memorial Mustached American of the Year. No, it’s not a ’stache popularity contest, but a celebration of those who have advanced the mustache cause. Yes, among the nominees are Attorney General Eric Holder, hero pilot Sully Sullenberger, presidential advisor David Axelrod, and John Oate’s mustache, here referred to as “J-Stache”. Voting ends October 20th.
