OMG, you guys are so lame. Palin is a simple ploy to get female voters. If you think politicians do ANYTHING with not the question “Will this get me votes?” as their main concern you are crazy. That goes for both parties. I have heard Palin interviewed long before the announcement. She is a big Ted Stevens fan. My only concern is if Palin thinks the roar of Harley’s “sounds like freedom” also.
