I’m of the opinion that the only good thing to come out of Kentucky is bourbon. The opening of the Creation Museum in Petersburg, Kentucky isn’t going to change that opinion. Evangelical owned and operated by the group Answers in Genesis, the Creation Museum odiously spreads disinformation about the history of our planet to justify their own sadly delusional creationist worldview. In their ghetto of fundamentalist thought, the natural world is distorted by biblical funhouse mirrors.
The earth is thousands of years old. Evolutionary science is to blame for America’s declining morals. The Tyrannosaurus rex observed a strict vegetarian diet. And Dragons? Dragons existed. These dragons, just so we’re clear:
It was only during the middle ages that pious knights eradicated the fire-breathing menace! Ha! Just kidding. They died off during the great flood:

That’s the kind of hogswill they’re teaching at the Creation Museum. The closest these nutters get to intersecting with actual science is the grudging acknowledgement that yes, we do live on the planet Earth. It’s just that some of us actually have our feet on its ground.
