Anyone who knows what this seal means knows what’s coming. It may have the Pedo Bear seal of approval, but in reality it’s something so ridiculous and appalling you wonder how anyone ever thought it was a good idea. So of what do I speak? This:
A school in Philly wasn’t questioned about their kind gesture to give students free laptops, until of course one of the students was reprimanded by the VP for something he did at home. Yes, at home. Apparently, school administrators thought it was a-okay to monitor students via the webcams built into the laptops they were given. Thanks to remote assistance, they could enable them at any time… whether the students were within school property or within the privacy and comfort of their own home.
A commenter on the site brings up a question of charges for pedophilia/child porn. Given the possibility that these administrators could have turned on the webcams at any time, it’s certainly a thought at what exactly was seen at what times when these kids were at home being regular kids.
Why anyone thought this was a good idea in the first place is beyond me, but the last thing I would want to do is watch a bunch of pubescent kids whacking off to Miley Cyrus or dancing in their underwear or whatever it is kids do these days. Start lingerie clothing lines for kids, perhaps.
