Infamous for risky, ill-thought-out stunts, PETA is at it again. This time, they’re out to make fish seem more cuddly so that people will like them. Their new campaign is to refer to fish as — wait for it — sea kittens. Its website has artwork of fish with whiskers and ears. Somehow, I don’t think this will do anything for the image of fish besides crazed laughter by fishermen. We saw one of your advocates modeling in fur, PETA; why don’t you go take care of that, instead?
I feel like a sea kitten sandwich, don’t you?
