Admiral William Fallon, chief of the Central Command, is none too pleased with his subordinate General Petraeus (known to the rest of us by MoveOn.org’s nickname for him, “General Betray Us”). The CENTCOM commander believes that our troop surge is not working and soldiers should be brought home from Iraq, and claims that General Betray Us is an “ass-kissing little chicken shit”. Reports that Fallon and Petraeus began butting heads earlier this month while in talks with President Bush reveal that while General Betray Us has been pushing for our troops to remain in Iraq indefinitely, Fallon believes a “a strategic withdrawal from Iraq was necessary to have sufficient forces to deal with other potential threats in the region.”
