Researchers studying computer models of climate changes in the American Southwest have determined the area is heading for a long period of severe drought. They claim we aren’t going to be experiencing a new drought, but a period where the climatology of the area is totally changed. As if summer wasn’t hot enough, now you’re going to have to drain your pool, or drink it at least. I wonder if this means we might see a reduction of the number of golf courses in the valley, or at least some new practices in water management. Really, all this will probably mean is it will be hotter, dryer and windier. We can only hope, right?
