I could swear that Caroline the Hipster, proprietor of Scandalicious and hipster fashion “expert,” is an especially convincing character created by the comedian Kristen Schaal. Failing that, I will have to acknowledge – as hipsters have forced me to more and more since moving to Portland – that there are actually human beings that frivolous and affected.
