Now, a little misogyny in alcohol advertising is normal, and always has been, but for some reason — in a new ad campaign — Bacardi thinks it will sell alcohol to women.
The new Breezer ads inform women that, to succeed in looking attractive, all they need to do is stand next to an ugly woman friend.
What’s even stranger is that these ads are targeting Israeli women. I can’t think of any woman in the world who would think that this is a good campaign strategy. Of course, if you released this in the US your death would be pretty quick, whereas you might be able to elude feminists in other countries — at least for a short time.
