RNC Chair Michael Steele is finding it difficult to concentrate on doing his job, with so many distractions diverting his attention. There’s the series of resignations in the wake of bondage-gate to consider, including that of his chief of staff, the new hire that has only made him look more corrupt by association, and the first call for his resignation from an RNC member. To add insult to injury, awkward white guy and prefab presidential candidate Mitt Romney is calling Steele’s behavior during his tenure “a distraction”.
“Anytime the chairman of our party becomes a story, that’s a distraction for our candidates,” Romney said. “I would encourage the chairman to do things that make it easier for candidates, like raising money, updating the technological base of our party and focusing on getting Republicans elected. “I’m not going to give advice about his career, but I’m going to give advice on how to lead the RNC at this point,” Romney said.
How that public insult must chafe Steele! Romney’s not street! The last time that fucking guy tried to relate to black people, he sang “who let the dogs out?” to them. Why, if Steele weren’t sinking further and further into irrelevance, he’d give him a piece of his mind…
