We’ve all seen the myriads of geeky birthday and wedding cakes, but this particular wedding for Anli and Laura takes, well, the cake! Why? Because for some reason, two people who love each other, who just happen to be the same gender, getting married brings more tears to my eyes than a straight wedding. Also, it’s a geek wedding, what’s not to love?
The above photo shows the wedding cake, which many will recognize as being the famed cube from the game Portal where it was usually understood that the cake was a lie. Not here! Also, the two cake toppers are actually characters from an anime they both love, “Revolutionary Girl Utena”. Not only that, but their photo shoot expounds on their geekyness as they pose with their dual Nintendo DS’s. The wedding was an explosion of pink, white, and cream but it’s forgivable considering.
