The commentariat, who, after all, are paid to love the sound of their own voices, have been dealt a crippling blow by Chicago Tribune. The newspaper (see: endangered species) notes that the predicted post-election baby boom among Obama supporters has not borne out in any statistically relevant way. There’s a reason, and it’s called birth control. Democrats and Independents don’t tend to think of it as baby slaughter in pill form or a thin layer of Satan that smothers manhood, thereby lessening the chance that a transcendent political euphoria-influenced hookup led to a beautiful baby boy named Barack in early August 2009… unless he was wanted.
