Most 10-year-olds can tell you that zombies are the living dead, that they are usually slow moving but relentless, and that they hunger for human flesh (a side effect of this is that their bite transforms their victims into zombies themselves). But as a society, have we ever shown curiosity about their postmortem hopes and dreams? Hell, have we even bothered to find out what they like?
That’s why I’m glad Portland’s News Channel 8 took the initiative to explore the zombie psyche on live television:
You know what? I like them as well. Maybe the differences between humans and zombies aren’t insurmountable after all…
