Saudi women have had it up to here with regulations. They want change, they want privacy- they want to buy underwear, damnit! And they want to buy it without the men who work there looking at them with disdain and making them feel uncomfortable. So what’s to be done about this? Why, bra training of course.
That is, the training of Saudi women on taking measurements and fitting bras for their fellow repressed gals and, with the help of Victoria’s Secret (who donated bras), to lift the ban that keeps women from selling underwear. Especially their own.
I don’t blame them for wanting this ban to be removed. It’s uncomfortable enough going in to buy new underwear in public and having people judge you by what you pick out (plus there are no dressing rooms, it’s indecent), and on top of that, to have male employees in those stores- I just couldn’t do it. Maybe if they were gay, but that’s also frowned upon in their society.
