The web is abuzz with news that the Pulitzer Prize Board has changed its eligibility rules to include web-only content. By “web”, I mean online-only columnists, critics and bloggers who have taken the prize board’s hesitancy to change the rules. In this brave new world, anyone could win a Pulitzer, right?
I’ve never won a Pulitzer before, so I’m not too sure on the procedure. Does the ghost of Ed McMahon show up at my door? Do I have to give a speech? I’m so nervous. I’ve never won anything of this stature before.
